Songs through a longer lens because as any photographer will tell you, a longer lens tends to blur the background, separating the subject from it’s surroundings.

It’s a (granted, a bit tortured) metaphor for being older, as I’m launching this on my 60th birthday, hopefully a little better equipped to distinguish signal from noise.
